Kona cotton shawl (1900659)

This generous sized shawl is made of Kona cotton, a medium weight cotton that gives it a bit of volume and substance. Wear it as an accessory or carry it in your bag for the perfect coverup in a chilly restaurant, theatre, or plane. It would also look great draped over a table. The surface is embellished with appliqued lines of hand dyed cotton yarn. The edges are finished with a simple overcast stitch, which comes as close as possible to a torn edge while still preventing fraying without adding stiffness. The colors? When I look at the rich black, brown, and tan I can’t help but think of a freshly poured pint of Guinness!
