Home by another way
Catalog number: 2011-0001
DESCRIPTION: This piece is a triptych (3 panels). I created it from scraps of a failed workshop composition. It took a while a get my feet back on the ground after that failure, but I did eventually find my way back home, and the journey was transformational. The name of the piece is a paraphrase of the verse from Matthew 2:12, which refers to the Magi returning home by a different route to avoid Herod, a decision that made a difference. The left and right panels measure 22.5 x 43 inches. The center panel measures 30.5 x 50 inches. The overall hanging dimension with 4" spacing is 83.5 x 50 inches.
